Imagine a man who, every month, invests more than 1000$ to learn French with your family. He works hard, he integrates, he pays his taxes, he contributes to the Quebec economy and participates actively in life here. But despite all that, and yet, we want to send him back because of a Administrative vagueness between governments, he is at risk of deportation.
Numerous temporary foreign workers are experiencing the same anxiety. Competent, motivated people who meet the pressing needs of our businesses. People who are called “essential”... until one day their status becomes a bureaucratic headache.
Even employers, like Airex Or Matritech, raise your arms. They are losing pillars of their teams. Colleagues become absentees. The economy is running out of steam.
So, a question arises:
Do we really want to build a strong Quebec... by sending back those who want to do it with us?
