Quebec society continues to mobilize against the various temporary immigration measures, imposed by both levels of government since September 2024. At SII and SRI, we are convinced that it is impossible to standardize the various issues and challenges of our vast administrative regions in a single restrictive approach. The socio-demographics of Abitibi-Témiscamingue or Gaspésie, for example, as well as our urban centers with unique demographics, deserve an individualized approach when it comes to managing the number of temporary foreign workers. Our team wants to share with you a very important newspaper article, published very recently, calling for a different approach to the immigration issue. Also, present to you a very creative pressure tool, launched by one of our customers, Matritech, to advance collective thinking. Of course, we have the permission of our customer to do this.
